Filing a Takedown Notice
A valid takedown notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- Identification of the material on this Site you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL is best);
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material promptly and notify the party who posted it.
Counter-Notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent containing: identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; your name, address, and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., the Northern District of Oklahoma); and your signature. If we receive a valid counter-notice we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate access privileges of users or contributors who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
